all about dance® is about creating a love for dance. Our instructors share their passion for dance with their students and train them to be sensational dancers in the process. all about dance® is a place where a child can learn poise and exhibit passion for what their interested in.

We are a studio where children can feel good in their own skin, express themselves, learn to be on stage and be a great dancer in the process. Don’t worry, you’re child will learn the tools necessary to be the next Baryshnikov, but it won’t be the only thing they’ll learn at all about dance®. Our classes focus on technique, artistry, fitness, discipline and a whole lot of fun! all about dance® kids perform at our annual recital and all over the city at local events and fairs. We believe that performance teaches confidence, promotes maturity and of course gives you a chance to see your children showcase their skills. In addition to our recreational classes we also offer more advanced programs such as Fundamentals, Starlets, and the Company Program.

all about dance® intensive program
This program is designed to take your child to the next level in dance by giving them a more intensive training in each genre and in effect become a more well rounded dancer. We offer 3 levels within our intensivee program in which age, maturity and skill level all are taken into consideration. This is a great program to enroll your child if you are looking to take their recreational dancing to the next level or if you want them to get on a track in which they will learn in a more focused environment. We recommend that the take all four genres as they will see the most improvement however they can take as many as their schedule allows for. This is also a great program if your child has hopes of one day becoming a part of the all about dance kids company one day! Please call the studio 773.572.8701 or email info@allaboutdance.org and we can help place your child in the class most suitable for them!

all about dance® starlet program
The Starlet program is an exciting new program designed for our youngest dancers, ages 6 - 9 1/2, who aspire to try out for the all about dance® Kids Company! This program is by invitation only and dancers are selected based on their technique, natural talent, love of dance and overall commitment to the studio. The students that join this program will take an hour and a half class each week, which will focus on all dance forms, including ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern.

The Starlet classes are taught by Director, Mary Sherman, but the students also have the opportunity to learn from our company teachers as well as guest choreographers under their specialized dance forms throughout the year. This program is designed to give your young dancer the chance to become well-rounded and is a great way to introduce them to the fun and exciting side of the all about dance® Kids Company! For all questions please contact mary@allaboutdance.org.

all about dance® kids company
all about dance® Kids Company is a great way to put your child on a dance track to become a great technical dancer and fabulous performer. We base our program on becoming a well rounded dancer. Due to our teachers experiences in the preofessional world we appreciate the value of learning all fundamentals of dance. Each company member takes a minimum of 4 hours of dance each week; requirements being jazz, ballet, hip hop and modern with the option to take pre-pointe, pointe and tap. Beyond the dancing, the all about dance® company is an extremely warm community of dancers and parents that all offer unconditional love and support for our dancers and our program. The all about dance® staff creates events and opportunities for the kids to get to know each other socially as well as educationally beyond the classroom. They are required to dance in proper dance attire which promotes discipline and respect for the art form as well as learning team building skills. They also travel to one convention per year to experience class from celebrity dance teachers within the dance community to expose them to other styles and a get real-world experience of dance and auditions. Company auditions are held during the month of June after our annual recital. For all questions please contact jen@allaboutdance.org.
